The Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance will prepare you for an in-demand career in the business world.
Learn to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations as an accounting major or minor. Your skills will be coveted, whether you become a staff accountant or a business analyst: the profession is projected to grow at 10% per year.
As an economics major or minor with a concentration in business or finance, you’ll learn the principles of economic analysis and how to apply these tools in real-world situations. Both small business and prestigious financial institutions will value your analytical skills.
The finance major or minor with a concentration in general finance or financial planning, will equip you with financial analysis skills, from asset valuation to risk management. Graduates become certified financial planners or work for banks, mutual fund companies or insurance companies.
All programs are accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
